Deborah Cox and Rufus Wainwright will be singing O Canada at the World Series, over the next two nights.

Cox, the four-time Juno-winning Canadian R&B and soul icon, will sing the anthem tonight, before Game 4 of the series. The Toronto Blue Jays lost Games 2 and 3 to the Los Angeles Dodgers, after winning Game 1 (and setting a historic record). The next two games will be played in L.A.

Wainwright, a fixture in both the contemporary pop and classical worlds, will sing O Canada on Oct. 29. The two-time Juno winner and Grammy nominee is known for his self-titled 1998 debut album and 2001’s Poses, as well for his 2009 opera Prima Donna.

The Canadian national anthem was sung by singer-songwriter JP Saxe at Game 3, Scars to Your Beautiful singer Alessia Cara at Game 2, and Pharrell Williams and Voices of Fire at Game 1. Williams and the gospel choir also performed the American national anthem at the first game.

On the American side, R&B and electronic artist Tinashe will sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the beginning of Game 4 and former Disney star Sofia Carson will sing at Game 5.

Country star Brad Paisley and pop singer Bebe Rexha sang at the two previous games.

Aside from the World Series, Wainwright will be performing at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Légendes induction ceremony alongside his sister, Martha, in Montreal on Nov. 17.

Cox was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2022 Juno Awards and is set to embark on a tour in November, visiting the Bahamas, New York and Bethesda, Maryland.
