Prince Harry will travel to Toronto this week, visiting the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre and attending a series of events in support of veterans ahead of Remembrance Day.

The prince will be in the city on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday morning, Harry will undertake a series of engagements before heading to a private lunch organized by the True Patriot Love Foundation — a group that supports Canadian military members, veterans and their families.

That evening, Harry will attend a fundraising dinner in support of the HALO Trust — an organization his late mother, Princess Diana, also supported.

On Thursday, Harry will be at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre for a “private visit” with residents, a spokesperson for Sunnybrook confirmed.

In the evening, he’ll attend True Patriot Love’s national tribute dinner. The organization did not comment on the events involving the visiting royal.

The 41-year-old Duke of Sussex is a military veteran, having served 10 years in the British army — service that included two tours of duty in Afghanistan.

No longer a working member of Royal Family

Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, moved to the U.S. in 2020. They had briefly stayed in Canada, prior to their relocation to Meghan’s home state of California.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were spotted front row at Game 4 of the World Series, cheering on the L.A. Dodgers. Harry’s father is the King of Canada and Meghan lived in Toronto while filming the TV show Suits.

The couple announced in 2020 that they were stepping back from their roles as senior royals. The following year, Buckingham Palace announced that Harry and Meghan would not be returning to their prior roles as working members of the Royal Family.

Harry, the son of King Charles, is fifth in the Royal Family’s line of succession.

His brother, Prince William, is first in line to the throne, followed by William’s three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
