March brings longer days, consistent conditions and added programming for families planning spring ski trips

REVELSTOKE, B.C. – January 28, 2026 –  As winter transitions into longer days and prime spring skiing conditions, Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) enters March with a slate of programming and seasonal offers aimed at making spring skiing more accessible for families.

From March 1 to April 12, 2026, children 12 and under ski free with the purchase of an adult lift ticket, positioning spring as one of the most desirable times of the season for families to ski at RMR. Reliable spring conditions, clearly defined learning areas and terrain that supports progression at different skill levels create an environment that works for both newer skiers and more experienced guests.

“Spring offers a different pace on the mountain,” says Ryan Melnyk, Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Marketing with Northland Properties. “Longer days and consistent conditions give kids space to build confidence, while camps and childcare give families flexibility in how they structure their ski days.”

Kids Ski FREE: Spring Value for Families

The Kids Ski Free offer is budget-friendly for families while still offering skiing during peak spring conditions. When combined with advance-purchase lift tickets booked more than 48 hours in advance, families can also access additional savings on rentals and lessons.

During March Break, Revelstoke’s Mountain Sports School offers multi-day ski and snowboard camps designed for kids and teens. Available in three- and five-day formats, these camps focus on skill development, confidence building and fun, with instruction tailored to age and ability.

Programs are available for children and teens aged 5 to 15, providing parents with the flexibility to plan full ski days while kids learn from experienced instructors. Beyond March Break, RMR also offers weekend and seasonal kids’ programs that support progression throughout the winter.

On-Mountain Childcare for Younger Children
