Noel Clarke, best known for his role in the sci-fi show Doctor Who, has been charged with six sexual offences including two counts of sexual assault, England and Wales’ Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced on Wednesday.
The British actor and filmmaker, who is 50 and rose to fame after playing Mickey Smith on the BBC show from 2005 to 2010, also faces one charge of exposure and three charges of voyeurism. According to CPS, the alleged offences involving Clarke took place between 2007 to 2016 and stem from allegations made by five women.

According to the Guardian, the recent charges were handed down after an investigation that began in September 2025.
Clarke is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on Oct. 21.
The actor is also known for writing and starring in the teen crime drama films Kidulthood (2006), Adulthood (2008) and Brotherhood (2016), which explored drug abuse, bullying and violence on the streets of London. He also directed Adulthood and directed and produced Brotherhood.
