The curtain is not quite up yet, but the tickets are already on sale. NYC Off-Broadway Week Fall 2026 is now accepting bookings, giving visitors access to 2-for-1 tickets across 25 productions for performances from October 5 to 18.
For Canadians planning a New York City getaway this fall, the promotion adds another option to the itinerary beyond the city’s better-known attractions. Travellers can also explore NYC travel deals for Canadians when planning their trip.
15 New shows join the fall lineup
Presented by New York City Tourism + Conventions in partnership with the Off-Broadway League, this year’s programme includes 15 shows participating in Off-Broadway Week for the first time.
The selection ranges from family entertainment and comedy to dramas, musicals and parodies like Alice in Wonderland, Heathers: The Musical, The Play That Goes Wrong, Gazillion Bubble Show, Our Sinatra and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Several productions also have October opening dates, giving visitors a chance to pair a new show with their New York trip.
More than 160,000 tickets sold
NYC Off-Broadway Week has been running since 2009 and has sold 160,000 tickets while generating more than $6 million in revenue, according to NYC Tourism + Conventions.
“NYC Off-Broadway Week showcases extraordinary talent, bold stories and unforgettable performances found only on New York City’s stages,” said Nancy Mammana, chief marketing officer of New York City Tourism + Conventions. She said the programme has helped introduce Off-Broadway to new audiences over the years.
The Off-Broadway League represents theatres and producers in the sector. Its president, Joey Monda, called Off-Broadway an essential part of New York City and said the partnership helps highlight the city’s theatre scene.

The 2-for-1 offer gives visitors a simple way to add live theatre to a New York itinerary while choosing from productions spanning different genres and venues.

Bookings are already open, so visitors do not need to wait for the promotion to begin. Participating productions and ticket details are available through NYC Tourism + Conventions, with the two-for-one ticket offer available through October 18.
