Welcome to everyone’s least favourite time of year for air travel.

The coming week can be a challenge, as last-minute travellers and returning passengers navigate winter weather and tight flight schedules.

CBC News has put together this live overview of the flight statuses at three major airports in order to paint a picture of how easy — or hard — air travel is for Canadians today.

Flight disruptions at Canada’s major airports

These figures are a real-time snapshot of what is published on airport websites. While delayed flights will eventually take off and be removed from the data, cancelled flights are persistent from the time they are initially cancelled until the airport removes from from the board — in most cases, at the end of the day.

For the most up-to-the-minute information on a specific flight, travellers should check with their airline or the airport’s official website.
