The Toronto International Film Festival is hosting the premiere of Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery, about Sarah McLachlan’s all-women music festival that ran from 1997 to 1999 and featured artists including Missy Elliott and Nelly Furtado while facing plenty of pushback. CBC’s Makda Ghebreslassie reports from the red carpet.
