Every year, comedians from all over Canada (and beyond!) submit recordings of their best 8-10 minute sets, hoping to be invited to perform at one of Winnipeg’s famous Comedy Galas! Appearing in The Winnipeg Comedy Festival means local recognition, nationally televised coverage, and bragging rights – not to mention the envy of their peers. What comedian wouldn’t want all of those things?!
