After sold-out performances in Winnipeg and Montreal, this thought-provoking production is making its way to one of Toronto’s most iconic music venues. Starring CJ Capital and Seth Zosky, and created in collaboration with Dan Petrenko and Tracey Erin Smith, Pain to Power challenges audiences to examine their relationships with their idols and confront difficult questions: Can you truly separate the art from the artist? What do you do when your hero breaks your heart? How do you fight back against so much hate?
This is not a tribute to Kanye West, but a protest. Featuring Hip Hop chart-toppers like Heartless, FourFiveSeconds, Power, Ultralight Beam, American Boy, and Runaway, the show seamlessly interweaves these songs with the personal stories of CJ Capital and Seth Zosky, exploring themes of family, faith, and friendship in a powerful, theatrical experience.
Pain to Power is more than just a musical; it’s an immersive exploration of personal struggle, resilience, and the pursuit of social change through music.
