Synopsis
The year is 1990, it’s New York City, and Jon— an aspiring young theatre composer— feels like he’s running out of time. As his 30th birthday nears, Jon is forced to reckon with his floundering theatre career as he navigates his relationships, life choices, and his dream of becoming Broadway’s next Big Thing. With its catchy rock score and intimate cast, Tick, Tick… Boom! is a contemporary story about friendship, art, and the pressure of success in modern America and beyond.
