14 Travel Agents Will Win a Place

September 9, 2026 Team Contributor

North American travel agents have a new incentive to put Australia front and centre with clients this fall.

Journey Beyond, Australia’s largest tour operator, has reopened its Become a Beyonder contest  and for the first time, Canadian and U.S. travel agents can participate in this grand journey. The prize: a spot on an all-inclusive nine-day trip through Western Australia and South Australia in March 2027.

For agents weighing the value of expert guidance versus booking a trip solo with AI, this kind of incentive reminds what hands-on advisor relationships still deliver – both for clients and for the agents who sell them.

What the Prize Includes

Winners get flights into Perth and out of Adelaide, a night in Perth, an overnight stay on Rottnest Island with Rottnest Express touring, and a three-night Outback Spirit tour through Margaret River. From there, it’s two nights aboard the Indian Pacific crossing the Nullarbor, a farewell dinner at Seppeltsfield Estate in the Barossa Valley, and a final night in Adelaide. Meals, drinks and touring are covered throughout.

Journey Beyond is offering 14 spots on its 2027 mega famil across five categories.

  • Bookings Beyond — six spots for top AUS/NZ consultants by guest bookings, plus one North America spot and one UK/Europe spot awarded by random draw, with every booking counting as an entry.
  • Sell Beyond — three spots for the agencies with the biggest year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Learning Beyond — one spot for an agent who attends all three campaign webinars and completes each quiz.
  • Creativity Beyond — one spot for the most creative campaign activation.
  • The Golden Ticket — one spot drawn at random from all eligible bookings.

To qualify, agents need to book clients on Journey Beyond Rail, Outback Spirit, Vintage Rail Journeys or Grand Pacific Tours for 2027 travel, with bookings made between September 1 and October 31, 2026.

Canadian Advisors Have Until October 31

Advisors have from September 1 to October 31, 2026, to make eligible 2027 bookings across Journey Beyond’s qualifying portfolio and put themselves in contention.

Journey Beyond says the previous campaign received strong support, prompting the return of the incentive. “Are you ready to Journey Beyond on another unforgettable adventure?” said Alicia Triggs, Executive General Manager, Sales and Partnerships at Journey Beyond. “We’re rolling out the red carpet once again to bring travel agents from across the globe along for the ride to Become a Beyonder.”

For Canadian agents, the campaign arrives alongside a growing focus on connecting travellers with professionals who can turn inspiration into a well-planned trip. Connecting travellers with destinations and specialist advisors while giving travel professionals another platform to put their expertise in the spotlight.

The invitation is now open to eligible advisors, with registration and full campaign details available through Journey Beyond until October 31. Advisors can also expand their reach among Canadian travellers through the Travel Advisors Directory, putting their expertise in front of travellers seeking professional advice.
