Drake’s three new albums, Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour, have made history by taking up the top three spots on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It marks the first time three albums by the same musician take up the three highest positions on the chart in the same week.

On the album opener, Make Them Cry, Drake jumps right into the feud: “Tell us how it felt to meet the grim reaper,” he raps, later stating, “F–k it, I’ll battle the label/ F–k it, I’ll battle the majors, I’ll battle the stations ‘til my ass is back in rotation.”
Habibti takes a softer direction, with a focus on love. The songs such as Slap the City, Classic and more, tackle the ups and downs of relationships.

Maid of Honour is the most experimental record of the three, with Drake fusing elements of Chicago juke (Outside Tweaking), 80s synths (Goose and the Juice) and more with his signature flow. He also uses earworm-y samples across the record, as Cheetah Print uses Peggy Gou’s (It Goes Like) Nanana and as well as DJ Casper’s Cha Cha Slide.
