‘Hopefully this will mean some change moving forward’

As the London demonstration starts to peter out, there are still about 100 students standing on the street corner.

Others are clearing the area, still holding rain-soaked signs in their hands.

Saturn Beer is a student who helped organize the protest.

They say they’re one of hundreds of students who have realized how important politics can be as a result of this provincial government’s decisions.

“I think with the OSAP cuts, it makes people realize how severely politics now affect them and how important it is to actually look and, like, stay in tune with the politics,” they said.

“Hopefully this will mean some change moving forward.”
