One person has been taken to hospital in unknown condition after an officer-involved shooting in southeast Calgary.

Police say the shooting happened when officers responded to “multiple reports about a dangerous driver” on Deerfoot Trail S.E. near Memorial Drive S.E. on Sunday afternoon.

Shots were fired when officers tried to arrest the driver, according to police.

Police said the extent of the person’s injuries remain unknown. They say no officers were injured.
