How the Victoire became Walter Cup champions 🏆

Behind a two-goal performance from Abby Roque and a 23-save shutout by Ann-Renée Desbiens, Montreal beat the Ottawa Charge 4-0 in Game 4 to secure their first PWHL title.

Maggie Flaherty and Lina Ljungblom also scored to help Montreal bounce back from a Game 3 loss and close out the best-of-five series.

Poulin was also honoured as the playoff MVP. She tied for the post-season lead with eight points on two goals and six assists.

“When you see little girls in the stands, we see parents seeing that there’s possibilities, there’s dreams there. It’s unbelievable,” Poulin said after Game 4. “So, to see what this league is all about, it’s really special to be part of.”
