Sunwing Vacations is expanding its winter cruise offering with the launch of new Sunwing MSC Opera cruises, giving travellers in Quebec a new, all-in-one Caribbean vacation option for the 2026-2027 winter season.
Scheduled from 14th December 2027, Sunwing Vacations will offer weekly Monday departures from Montreal to La Romana in the Dominican Republic, where guests can board the MSC Opera for seven-night Antilles and Caribbean itineraries.
This program strengthens Sunwing’s cruise portfolio and comes as demand for bundled vacation experiences continues to rise among travellers seeking predictable pricing and convenience.
Sunwing MSC Opera Cruises – package inclusions
The new cruise packages combine accommodation, air travel, transfers and onboard amenities into a single booking.
Each package includes:
- Daily services gratuities and charges
- Easy drink beverage package
- Round-trip cruise and airport terminal transfers
- Meals onboard
- Seven nights aboard MSC Opera
- Round-trip WestJet flights from Montreal to La Romana

Additional Caribbean stops will vary, based on the selected sailing. Departures are scheduled between 14th December 2026 and 29th March 2027, with availability expected to be limited during peak winter travel months.
