Have you spotted it yet? The electric energy of Seoul is here, maybe near the CN Tower or the vibrant Distillery District. A state-of-the-art, glowing LED mega-truck is at the heart of the new “Ride to Korea” campaign, and it’s turning the GTA into the ultimate gateway for your next great adventure.

How to join the “Ride to Korea” chaseWhy Korea should be your next travel destination

Till July 10, 2026, the Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) is taking its “Imagine Your Korea” message off your screen and onto the pavement. If you’re a traveller who dreams of wandering through the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace or soaking up the sun on the shores of Jeju Island, this is for you. Whether you’re a fan of K-culture or simply looking for your next bucket-list destination, Toronto will get to see the magic of Korea all summer long.

How to join the “Ride to Korea” chase

The campaign is built around three themes: Celebrate the Game, Chase the Truck, and Discover Korea. The star of the show is the branded LED truck cruising through major high-traffic hotspots, including Nathan Phillips Square, Casa Loma, Harbourfront Centre, Mel Lastman Square, and Sankofa Square.

Want to be part of the action? Here is how you can jump in:

  • Track the Magic: Popular local creators are documenting the truck’s journey in real-time. Follow the excitement on social media to see where it’s heading next.
  • Enter for the Grand Prize: You could win two round-trip airline tickets to South Korea. To enter, subscribe to the official “Imagine Your Korea” YouTube channel, comment on the designated Community tab post, and submit your entry via the campaign’s official online form.
  • Weekly Wins: Keep an eye on the official Instagram account @ktocanada. They are hosting weekly digital contests throughout the campaign, giving away $100 gift cards to help fuel your summer fun.

Why Korea should be your next travel destination

While the vibrant “Ride to Korea” campaign brings a taste of the country to Toronto, it invites you to embark on a journey to the nation to experience it yourself. South Korea is a land of seamless contrasts, where ancient temples sit in the shadows of glass-and-steel skyscrapers and traditional street food markets coexist with world-class fine dining.

Whether you’re drawn to the endless shopping of Myeong-dong, the serene beauty of the countryside, or the world-renowned pop culture scene, Korea offers a travel experience that feels both incredibly modern and deeply rooted in history. This summer campaign is your personal invitation to stop imagining and start planning.

Don’t miss your chance to see the truck in person, soak in the vibrant Korean energy, and hopefully, turn that dream of a Seoul getaway into a reality. Keep your eyes on the road, follow the KTO Canada socials, and get ready for an unforgettable trip.

Ready to explore? Be sure to enter the sweepstakes before the campaign wraps up on July 10, 2026. Good luck, and happy travels!
